A geohash on the way out of town. I aimed to be there at noon, but my time estimating skills aren't improving any. I pulled up about 12:40 and did a quick scout - the spot was on the highway side of a fence, and therefore publicly accessible. Huzzah!
When I reached the spot, I kicked some of the weeds out of the way and snapped a few photos. I also added a chalk note on the side of the road, pointing to the spot. On the way to Octoberfest, I thought of the best and most appropriate way to mark the spot - a pumpkin and a sharpie. Next time...
